My name is Ariel Ross, an Art Therapy Honours Student who is passionate about supporting students in building confidence and finding joy in learning.
I am passionate about helping others succeed, both academically and personally. My experience as a tutor and peer support volunteer has strengthened my patience, empathy and communication, enabling me to create a supportive environment where every student believes in their own abilities.

- 2021: Matriculated from Eduplex High School
- 2025: Completed my BA in Psychology at the UP.
- Currently: Art Therapy Honours Degree at the UJ.
- Additional: STARS Mentor and Peer Support Volunteer.
My proudest achievements
- I am proud to have earned four distinctions in my IEB matric, having served as a prefect honing leadership and teamwork skills, as well as having been chosen as one of the first Peer Support Volunteers at UP, supporting fellow students’ growth and well-being.

Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI’m a passionate Visual Arts tutor with a strong love for all mediums, especially watercolour. With experience in both practical and theory-based art, I help students build confidence while exploring creativity. I aim to pursue Art Therapy Honours to further my artistic path.
History
Grade 1 - Grade 10 IEBI enjoy helping students understand History and develop strong critical thinking skills so they can learn with confidence. I completed GES History 110 and 120 at the University of Pretoria, achieving distinctions of 76% and 75%.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEB, NSCAfrikaans First Additional Language is a subject I’ve consistently excelled in and previously tutored. I’m especially passionate about poetry, reading, and language, and I focus on helping students build skill, confidence, and ease with Afrikaans.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 10 IEBI completed English up to second-year level at the University of Pretoria and have a strong passion for literature. I help students strengthen essay writing, comprehension, and analytical skills, while encouraging a genuine enjoyment of English.
Mathematics Literacy
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI have previous tutoring experience in Mathematical Literacy and a strong understanding of the subject. I am patient and dedicated to helping learners build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and apply maths to real-life situations.
