How much does a GCSE science tutor cost?
Rates depend on tutor experience and lesson frequency; you'll see exact prices for matched tutors before committing to anything. There are no sign-up fees and no long contracts.
Do you cover Combined Science and Triple Science?
Yes. Combined (double award) or separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics: the tutor matches your child's pathway. Combined students sit all three sciences for two GCSE grades, so lessons target whichever science is pulling the average down; Triple students get subject-specialist depth in each separate GCSE. Either way, the tutor works from the exact specification and past papers for your child's course.
Which exam boards do you cover?
All major boards: AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. The tutor teaches your child's exact specification, including its required practicals, and uses its past papers.
Is online GCSE science tuition as good as in person?
For GCSE science, online one-to-one works exceptionally well: diagrams and equations on a shared whiteboard, past-paper marking in the lesson, no travel time, and a much wider tutor pool than any one town.
When should we start before the exams?
Earlier beats cramming: starting in the autumn term gives time to close gaps across Biology, Chemistry and Physics before mocks (November to January) and use mock results to target the May and June papers. That said, focused exam-technique blocks in spring still move marks.
