The short answer

An A-Level tutor works one-to-one on your exam board's exact specification, in any A-Level subject: rebuilding fundamentals where the step up from GCSE bites, working real past papers, and drilling the multi-step questions that decide grades. Lessons are online and scheduled around sixth form.

Five-lesson promise

The risk is ours, not yours.

Our 5-Lesson Peace of Mind Guarantee

We know how important the right tutor match is. If it doesn't feel right, we'll find your child another tutor and you won't pay for that lesson. If you're not satisfied with their progress after five lessons, we'll refund every cent you paid for them.

Read our full guarantee

The right tutor can make all the difference, not only to your child's results, but also to their confidence, understanding and ability to tackle their schoolwork independently. For you, that means the reassurance of knowing your child is supported, making progress and moving in the right direction. That's the transformation we want your child to experience, and we're prepared to stand behind it.

First, your child's tutor should feel like the right fit. If your child doesn't feel comfortable, understood and excited to continue after their lesson, simply tell us. We'll find them a better-matched tutor, and you won't pay a cent for that lesson.

Once your child has found the right match, give us five lessons to help them make meaningful progress. If, after those five lessons, you're not satisfied with the change you're seeing, let us know and we'll refund every cent you paid for them.

Our 97% customer success rate gives us the confidence to make this promise. But if your child is among the 3% who don't get the results you hoped for, we wouldn't feel right keeping your money.

No awkward conversations. No hoops to jump through. The risk is ours, not yours.

Questions parents and students ask

Which A-Level subjects do you cover?

Maths (including Further Maths), Chemistry, Physics and Biology have dedicated specialist pools, and most other A-Level options are covered too: tell us the subject list and we'll match accordingly.

How much does an A-Level tutor cost?

Rates depend on tutor experience and frequency; you see exact prices for matched tutors before committing. No sign-up fees, no long contracts.

Which exam boards?

AQA, Edexcel, OCR (and WJEC). Tutors teach your specification and mark against its mark schemes.

Can tutoring help between a mock and the real exam?

Yes, that's the highest-leverage window: mock papers show exactly which topics and question styles are dropping marks, and lessons target those.

Do you help with retakes?

Yes. A focused retake plan built from last year's papers beats repeating the year's notes, and tutors set it up week by week.

How do I get started?

Click "Get a Tutor", tell us the subjects, board and target grades, and we'll match you. You talk to us before anything is booked.
